A swimming pool leak detection is broken into 2 basic processes:

Testing for leaks in the plumbing
Testing for leaks in the structure (the swimming pool itself)

We use state-of-the-art, noninvasive equipment to locate leaks in the plumbing lines and/or at the equipment, and use a specially formulated dye to locate leaks in/at the structure.

‍Upon the completion of a leak detection, we will provide:

Epoxy Repairs

Epoxy repairs can be done without draining the pool and are relatively inexpensive. These include repairs to:

small cracks in the pool shell.
light conduits.
skimmer throats.
jets.
drain buckets.

Vinyl Liner Patches

Vinyl patches can be added to vinyl liners without draining the pool and are relatively inexpensive to add.

Drain Cover Replacements

Drain covers can be replaced without draining the pool and are relatively inexpensive to replace. Learn about the
Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act and the requirements for VGB-compliant drain covers.
(Most drain covers have a life span of between 3 and 7 years.)

Plumbing Repairs

Plumbing repairs can be done without draining the pool.
Some repairs can be made the same day as a leak detection; others require a full-day to complete.

Skimmer Replacements

Replacing a skimmer requires the pool to be drained to the bottom of the tile line, and usually requires a full-day to complete.
